Account Manager

We are currently seeking an Account Manager (AM) to join our team for our Carolina West Region.
The Account Manager will oversee ECI field employees at our Duke Carolina West client account.
The AM is responsible for managing relationships with specific customers for ECI, including business development .
The AM oversees overseeing operational execution for assigned client accounts, serving as the day-to-day point of contact for the client to maintain client satisfaction.
This will include supervision and oversight of key leadership field employees.
The AM will be tasked with growing their respected accounts, keeping quality of work high , and advising clients on long-term growth strategies.
In addition to staying up to date on ECI's offerings, the AM must also stay up to date on innovations and trends and how they might affect clients' operations and needs.
The AM will report to and work with the Regional Manager to address business opportunities, operational improvement areas, and financial goals and challenges.
They will also in-turn work with the Account Director to strategize for execution and growth of their assigned accounts.
The AM will often coach, mentor and/or train new hires and employees as well be responsible for ensuring employees are equipped with equipment and training to complete their job duties.

Salary range for this role is $55K-$70K annually, dependent on relevant experience and industry certifications.

JOB
Responsibilities:

Support and manage account operations and activities for assigned ECI client(s).

Build and maintain employee morale and engagement, as demonstrated by the annual Engagement Survey, to improve employee retention/reduce employee turnover.

Identify areas for improvements and provide recommendations with assigned team and/or ECI operations as applicable.

Identify resource requirements and skill sets to meet business needs.

Work with the Recruiting Department to identify, interview, make offers and hire new employees.

Support account financial activities including billings, receivables, Timesheets, etc.

Monitor and control expenses according to budgetary guidelines.

Liaise between clients and project team/Operations.

Develop and implement strategic business plan to meet business objectives.

Responsibility for identifying new business opportunities with existing customers.

Generate and maintain account reports and documentations.

Ensure team ability to meet KPI goals.

Schedule regular meetings with team members and clients to discuss issues, work progress, etc.

Maintain account records for administrative and regulatory purpose.

Attend project status calls and update weekly status reports.

Facilitate and schedule new hire onboarding and training, after initial orientation day.

One on one meetings and annual review.

Incident reporting first contact and follow up.

Responsible for employee lifespan with ECI:
hiring, performance review, discipline, and off-boarding/termination.
JOB
Qualifications:

An associate or bachelors degree in Forestry, Business, or any related field AND / OR minimum 3 years of experience in arboricultural practices with utility vegetation management and line clearance experience.

Minimum 1-year prior management or supervisory experience in the UVM Industry.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients, staff, executives, and field employees.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in the English language required.

Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

ISA Certification preferred.

Prior GIS software experience a plus.

Willingness to obtain other certifications as needed (e.
g.
, state herbicide applicators license, environmental certification(s))
Ability to travel 25% or more, based on region, time of year, and other variables.

Bi-lingual speaking (English and Spanish) is a plus.
Working Environment This job operates in an office, field or remote depending on client needs.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers.
This position may also work in an outdoor field environment; vehicle and foot patrol of utility power lines; remote locations as well as urban, city environment; physical demands and travel from site to site, including:
walking/hiking on various surfaces including flat, dry, wet, slippery, uneven, rough, steep terrain, hills and slopes; exposure to noise, dust, grease, and all types of weather and temperature conditions; exposure to hazardous traffic conditions.
Physical The team member must have sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a field environment; to walk up to 10 miles per day, stand, sit, and operate a motor vehicle for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, run, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp and make repetitive hand, arm and shoulder movement in the performance of daily duties (e.

, forcefully beat down brush); carry, push and/or pull light to heavy amounts of weight, frequently lift up to 10 lbs.
