Contribute as a strategic partner in the accomplishment of departmental business strategies and plans, through initiatives that attract and retain talent, develop employees and leaders, and align organizational goals and objectives.
Manages, directs, and coordinates the activities of the payroll function to insure the preparation, processing, and distribution of accurate and timely pay to employees.
Perform payroll checks and balances.
Responsible for effective execution of bi-weekly payrolls and year end processing.
Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Manages the accuracy of information in ADP Workforce Now (HRIS).
Ensures data is up to date and identifies and implement best practices in that system.
Creates senior leadership presentations and executive summaries of total rewards initiatives that support the overall purpose, vision, objectives, and goals.
Conducts compensation studies in accordance with company compensation philosophy.
Reviews market benchmark survey, analyzes competitive market data and develops recommendations for updates to salary structures and benefit programs as appropriate.
Leads year-end compensation and benefits processes, market research, process design and development and recommend customized solutions aligned to the strategic requirements of the businesses.
Accurately prepares HR metrics and reports.
Partner with the CHRO to understand and execute the human resources and talent strategy to include, recruiting, retention, compensation and benefits, payroll, and employee relations.
Manages the HR Manager role in charge of full cycle talent acquisition to include sourcing, job postings, resume screening, interviews, offers of employment and initial orientation.
Helps to develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to ensure a robust and diverse applicant pool for all openings.
Ensure complete and consistent Human Resources documentation, including but not limited to employment files, documentation of disciplinary actions and performance.
Collaborates on the development of departmental budget.
Provides direction and leadership to assigned HR staff, to include setting department goals, conducting regular 1:
1s, providing performance feedback, coaching and development to ensure operating efficiency and the delivery of customer service.
