General Description:
Create and implement effective wellness and population health management (PHM) strategies.
Includes reduce costs, improve member health status, and attract and retain talent.
Assist with new business sales and retain existing clients with 100
employees.
Provide clients' tools, resources, and assistance.
Responsibilities:
o Participate in briefings and sales presentations for potential clients with 100
employees.
Act as expert in data management tool.
Review USI concepts, practices, and service expectations.
o Develop and deliver strategic solutions specific to client needs.
Participate in strategic planning sessions and PHM specific meetings.
o Analyze and recommend vendor/carrier-based services, products, and pricing.
Work with client and vendor(s) to establish baseline metrics and monitoring methodology.
o Serve as liaison between USI, the insurer, and outside vendors.
o Partner with internal teams to create customized wellness strategy options for clients.
Focus on metrics, outcomes, education, programs, and policy/environment.
o Create PHM program implementation communication materials.
Includes e-mails, flyers, and brochures.
Consult with client's communication team and outside vendors on communication materials.
o Review client utilization and cost data to identify PHM opportunities and recommend strategies.
Meet with assigned $100,000
clients to review annual wellness statistics.
o Participate in national team meetings and monthly team calls.
Develop and execute internal training calendar for the region.
o Implement USI strategy with new clients.
Transition existing clients to an appropriate platform as needed.
o Maintain data tracking tools for corporate reporting.
o Collaborate with PHM team to enhance client communication materials.
Includes national newsletter.
o Develop and deliver PHM trainings to internal and external audiences in line with national strategies and initiatives.
Includes wellness seminar content for prospects and clients.
o Work with internal partners and carriers.
Ensure accurate and timely response to all outstanding issues.
o Keep current with medical carrier and vendor wellness offerings, resources, and industry trends.
Educate benefits consultants and account executives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o 2-3 years' experience working directly with wellness/health promotion programs.
o Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Concentration in health sciences field (i.
e.
, nutrition, sports/fitness, nursing) preferred.
o Travel up to 50% of the time.
o Basic knowledge of medical terms.
Includes chronic conditions such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes.
o Experience with strategy development, health-related policy, and environmental interventions.
Some industry (carrier/broker/vendor) exposure preferred.
o Experience preparing and delivering presentations and facilitating decision-making.
o Ability to convey complex information to a wide variety of audiences.
Includes small and large group settings with employees, mid-level managers, and senior leaders.
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
o Self-motivated.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, team environment.
o Strong organizational and communication skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
