Product Architect for Hardware Design
Piper Companies is looking for a Product Architect for Hardware Design to join a dynamic team of individuals working for a company that specializes in the industrial services industry.
The position is in Charlotte, Nc and will operate on a hybrid schedule.
Duties for the Product Architect Include:
Interaction with OEM, ODM and JDM manufacturing and production partners Manage Gearbox's EE Practice Confirm that all DFMA Principles are met.
Run additive manufacturing (FFM, SLA) prototyping and construction of boxes.
Test and modify prototypes in the Gear box research and development lab.
Requirements for the Product Architect Include:
BS in Engineering or Equivalent Field of Study Comfortable working with a variety of 3D Printers Advanced Proficiency in Solidworks, CATIA, or Fusion360 5
years of CAD design and 2
years of interfacing with plastics manufacturing vendors.

$125,000-$150,000 based on experience level Recommended Skills 3 D Printing Cad Catia Plastics Processing Solid Works (Cad) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
