Full time Marketing Coordinator Data Bridge Consultants is looking to expand their marketing team by hiring a person proficient in digital marketing with experience in creating and implementing marketing strategies as our new Digital Marketing Coordinator.
We are in the pre-launch stage of a new web platform created to help young professionals elevate their careers through professional development, and networking in the digital space.
The Position This job is best suited for someone who gets excited about providing business resources for professional development and career growth, and who sees social media as a way to network effectively.
You will share these resources by writing blog articles, creating social posts and videos on topics our Marketing Manager chooses, and those you suggest based on your research of what is being discussed by our users on our platform and the business world in general.
You will work to create graphics with our Graphic Designer but you should have a general concept of how a great blog post or social post should be designed.
Your primary tasks will be to research what our audience is asking for to help them in their business journey and then:
1.
Choose the corresponding longtail keywords to write a blog article, using appropriate headings, photos, coordinating links, and graphics to answer their questions.
Bonus points if your creative brain thinks of another relevant blog topic that will coordinate with the piece you have just written.
2.
Create an engaging social post highlighting your blog article.
3.
Create other engaging social posts regarding the theme of your blog article (without directly promoting the blog article) with either a graphic, a meme, a short video or an appropriate photo and text using that platform's best practices.
In addition, you will be required to:
1.
Create longer talking head videos on career development and how to use our platform.
2.
Interview business experts or business coaches in the field of professional and career growth and then write corresponding longer-form articles and corresponding social posts.
3.
Grow and maintain our online community both on our platform and through social media.
4.
Help create and maintain a content calendar for all social channels with a focus on professional development and career growth, with a priority on creating content that encourages engagement and grows our brand.
5.
Attend various Charlotte-based, in-person networking groups, representing the brand after hours and on the weekends when needed.
You must:
Have 1-2 years of digital marketing and blog writing experience in a professional environment.
Be able to take direction and criticism as a way to improve your work and elevate our brand.
Be able to complete the tasks you are given and make your own suggestions where appropriate.
Be able to meet the timelines you are given.
Be an excellent writer, able to write for a variety of formats while staying on-brand.
Know a lot about the social media world and know how to use various platforms, but also be able to learn quickly if you are unfamiliar with how something works or the best way to use it.
Be familiar with analytics and the way SEO works.
Have excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.

If we think you would be a great fit for our start-up, we will give you a small practice test post which will take no longer than 30-45 minutes to complete.
That way you can get a handle on what we are looking for and we can see if you can create what we need.
This is a full-time position based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
You will be required to work in our office, located in the One Independence Center at 101 North Tryon St.
