Product Architect for Hardware Design
Piper Companies is looking for a Product Architect for Hardware Design to join a dynamic team of individuals working for a company that specializes in the industrial services industry.
The position is in Charlotte, Nc and will operate on a hybrid schedule.
Duties for the Product Architect Include:
oInteraction with OEM, ODM and JDM manufacturing and production partnersoManage Gearbox's EE PracticeoConfirm that all DFMA Principles are met.
oRun additive manufacturing (FFM, SLA) prototyping and construction of boxes.
oTest and modify prototypes in the Gear box research and development lab.
Requirements for the Product Architect Include:
oBS in Engineering or Equivalent Field of StudyoComfortable working with a variety of 3D PrintersoAdvanced Proficiency in Solidworks, CATIA, or Fusion360o5
years of CAD design and 2
years of interfacing with plastics manufacturing vendors.

$125,000-$150,000 based on experience level Recommended Skills 3 D Printing Cad Catia Construction Plastics Processing Prototyping Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
