Summary:
Reporting to the East Division Engineering Manager, this position will be responsible for the design and management of various capital engineering projects for quarry processing plants and rail/marine facilities in South Carolina and Western North Carolina.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design and manage projects within world-class safety standards, allotted capital budgets and schedules Preparation of bid packages and detailed selection of best value bidder Preparation and implementation of cost estimation, engineering design, field construction management, process improvement projects, and various other capital projects of aggregate plant design, process water systems, rail design, and civil/sitework design Provide processing knowledge and troubleshooting of existing and proposed plants Communicate with the engineering, operations, and division management on project status, upcoming activities, and project hurdles Directing the work of contractors and plant personnel during construction and after start-up Prepare thorough engineering designs for bid, construction, and start-up Manage multiple projects simultaneously across the respective area of responsibility Communicate with electrical engineers and automation engineers to ensure successful implementation with mechanical design Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in mining, civil, or mechanical engineering; or equivalent experience required Five years' experience in the mining industry with primary experience in project engineering and management Experience with processing systems including the installation and start-up of conveyors, screens, crushers, pumping systems, and material washing systems Experience with Aggflow, Belt Analyst, and construction surveying Experience with AutoCAD including 3D modeling, Advance Steel, Civil3D, Solidworks, and/or Inventor Ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings/designs and provide oversight for concrete installation and steel fabrication and erection Effective oral and written communication skills Out-of-town travel required 25%-50% of the time Physical Requirements:
Valid North Carolina Driver's License Ability to physically travel to job sites and work on and around construction projects Ability to work on uneven terrain related with construction sites Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Must be willing to work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, dust, noise, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
