Associate Relations, including directing, coordinating and supervising the administration of associate relations, labor regulations, affirmative action, and fair employment practices; Training and Development, including research, development and implementation of effective training tools and programs, as well as analysis of the effectiveness of assessment tools; Counseling/Coaching, including providing counseling/problem solving to management and non-management associates; and Assisting the SVP HR with leading the HR team. Qualified candidates must have:
10 years human resources generalist experience with a broad knowledge base regarding employment law, ERISA, ACA, Title VII, payroll, OSHA, FSLA, FMLA, ADA, and other laws and regulations; broad experience with Training and Development software and programs; strong coaching skills; the ability to deal constructively with conflict and develop consensus; and exceptional collaborative and communication skills. A 4-year college degree is required. Experience in retail, multi-unit and international is preferred, as is experience in recruiting/staffing.
