Subject Matter Expert Are you ready to make a difference? This position is to be the voice of the market for their category. They provide guidance and expertise around K-12 funding, knowledge around policy issues, market needs and instructional trends. The SME works collaboratively with marketing, merchandising, product development, sales and leads our funding awareness and grant efforts. Essential Functions Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of education funding and grants through research, media sources and direct customer contact. Interpret and communicate information to internal and external customers. Update company internal resources for the category to reflect current trends that are impacted by funding and legislation. Provide internal training for the Sales Teams. Collaborate with sales leadership to facilitate, support and/or deliver effective and relevant sales training. Provide up to date information and insight around federal and state funding and how that impacts our customers. Provide a regular cadence of funding updates to the sales organization including business impacts and potential for revenue. Share information on funding streams and Grant initiatives that can produce sales opportunities. Identify target customers based off of funding and grant opportunities. Work across categories to promote new sales opportunities directly tied to funding. Provide and / or manage the Grant Assist process for external customers. Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to offer and promote grants that complement our selection of products that also align with changing customer needs. Contribute to the annual financial goals of the organization. Minimum Required QualificationsBachelor degree with a minimum of eight years in an education or equivalent time in a leadership role. Masters degree in Administration or Leadership degree preferred. Major in Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or Secondary Education. Knowledge of and experience with Federal Funding. Experience preferred or minimum 5 years teaching and/or work experience. Prefer minimum of 5 years of district level or building level administration experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Presentation and/or experience designing and providing professional development. Excellent Project Management Skills Communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Knowledge and SkillsDeep understanding and field experience with products and customers in education. Ability to research funding streams and assist Marketing in developing materials to drive sales within the organization. A strong understanding of the customer and structure of the educational market. A strong understanding of funding and policy issues that impact educational decisions, purchases and instructional trends. Experience purchasing utilizing a variety of educational funding sources and/or experience allocated federal and state funds. Ability to provide advice and educate both internally and externally (customers) to promote increased sales. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate to executive management in business terms. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Education AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
