IT Sr. Technical Lead, Supply Chain at Corning Incorporated in Charlotte, NC

Corning IT is seeking an exceptional professional with strong leadership skills to join our IT SC team as a Sr. Technical Lead. Supported systems include SAP S/4 Private Instance, SAP S/4 Public instance, SAP ECC, IBP, and GTS. The lead will be responsible for Technical leadership across these multiple environments. The IT SC Sr. Technical Lead will also be responsible for providing support to Project Symphony and Concert 'box' leads to deliver GT solution and ERP Transformation. In addition, this role will support IT Supply Chain staff to deploy business process digital solutions and/or key strategic plans for multiple large scale, complex programs. This role will report directly to the IT Manager, GT and Product Owner.
Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve complex technical issues within our customer service-level agreements. Translate Business User functional requests requirements to build technical objects utilizing best practices. Able to perform under pressure during times like a system down situation. Work across multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Conduct working sessions with business users as required. Understanding of SAP S/4 HANA/IBP/ECC/APO/GTS and table structures, data elements/fields, & table inter-dependencies. Work with Basis team during troubleshooting providing guidance when required. Research and apply OSS notes as required to resolve issues. Define Corning Standard Business Process flows (based on SAP Best Practice) Collaborate with Solution Architects, Service Lines, Enterprise Architects and Business Engagement to translate business requirements and IT enterprise architecture into well-defined technical solutions/requirements Provide directionally accurate cost estimates for use in business case development Assist with the development and encourage the adoption of reference architectures and reusable patterns to facilitate the standardization of solution design, deployment and risk/compliance Provide guidance and oversight to project and engineering teams in the build, test and deployment of technical solutions Participate and lead project design sessions with Process Strategy to develop end to end solutions for complex business problems. Challenge status-quo and think out of the box to device innovative solutions for such problems. Coach/mentor members of IT as necessary. Align with and influence teams to grow/enterprise architecture skills and perspective Troubleshooting:
investigate, analyze, and solve problems Continuously expand breadth and depth of technology expertise to include applied research. Education &
Experience:
10 or more years of experience managing large-scale projects in an IT, SC or business management role, preferably SAP implementations, within a large organization Bachelors of Science Degree; Supply Chain degree preferable; Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline MBA or Masters in SC Management is a plus Hybrid skill set of Business Analyst/Solution Architect/Process & Data Management Project Manager or Stream Lead experience Business / Leadership Skills:
Ability to understand and communicate business capability needs and how the product (SAP) value enables the digital strategy Is effective in translating technical language into business language to bridge the gap between business and technical professionals Solicits advice, support, sponsorship and commitment to product success across relevant parts of Corning. Works effectively with and through others as a member of one or more teams. Is obsessed with product quality, staying deeply immersed in product deliverables and releases to ensure no surprises. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Proactive in taking actions and ability to deliver results in a complex and fluid environment. Must be a self-starter with ability to manage work with minimal supervision.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
