Responsibilities:
As a Water Infrastructure Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1Overseeing and managing all aspects of water infrastructure projects, including planning, design, construction, and handover.2Utilizing your expertise in hydraulic design, transportation projects, and MicroStation to ensure the successful completion of projects.3Collaborating with various stakeholders, including NCDOT and FHWA, to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.4Conducting geotechnical engineering assessments and implementing stormwater management strategies to mitigate potential risks.5Designing roadway drainage systems and implementing hydrologic and hydraulic improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our water infrastructure.6Developing and implementing erosion control and soil stabilization strategies to minimize environmental impact.7Designing sedimentation control systems to prevent the contamination of water bodies.8Regularly monitoring and reporting on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Water Infrastructure Project Manager role, you must have:
1A minimum of 10
years of experience in managing water infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on hydraulic design, transportation projects, and experience using MicroStation.2Proven experience with GeoPak, NCDOT, geotechnical engineering, stormwater management, and roadway drainage design.3A deep understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic improvements, as well as the FHWA Hydraulic Design Manual.4Demonstrated experience in erosion control, soil stabilization, and sedimentation control design.5Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.6Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.7A bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required; 8Professional engineering (PE) license required or ability to obtain one within 6 monthsIf you have a passion for water infrastructure and a desire to make a difference in your community, we would love to hear from youApply today to join our team and help us shape the future of water infrastructure in our community.Interested in hearing more?
