The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for the President and CEO.
The Executive Assistant will also provide executive level support to the SERC Lead Team as well as assist the Corporate Secretary with Board duties.
Use of good judgment in a variant of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a balance among multiple priorities.
The Executive Assistant works independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidentiality matters with discretion.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Executive Support Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the President and CEO including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments, completing expense reports, composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential, arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas, and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
Plan, coordinate and ensure the CEO's schedule is followed and respected.
Provide gatekeeper and gateway role for direct access to the CEO's time and office.
Work closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
Has a sense for issues taking place and keeping the CEO updated.
Provide leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization and manages a variety of special projects for the President, some of which may have organizational impact.
Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting correspondence.
Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
Senior Management Liaison Assist with scheduling of meetings.
Assist in coordinating the agenda meetings for senior management and management team meetings as well as off-sites.
QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:
Associates degree required; bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong work tenure.
5
years' experience supporting C-Level Executives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff and board members.
Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer service and response.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities to propose solutions.
Experience working and communicating with a diverse group of people, including the Board of Directors, volunteers, the public, and other staff.

The salary range for this position is DOE.
