Python PowerShell Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:
This team is seeking a senior SAN storage engineer to project involves migrating data center storage from end of life Dell EMC VMAX3 storage arrays to new storage platforms (DellEMC Powermax 2500).
This will be a block migration effort (SAN).
The role will include the full project life cycle including an initial discovery phase to identify affected servers and application teams, working with server/application owners to identify the data being decommissioned vs migrated, working with the greater storage team to create a migration schedule, implement the schedule and decommission the vacated arrays.
This role will start off being first shift and is likely to move to third shift as physical servers will need to be rebooted in the overnight hours during cutovers.
Isilon experience is necessary as there will be another team handling the Isilon migration, but this role will be responsible for decommissioning the SAN STORAGE ENGINEER-W2 (Apply Local to Charlotte, NC) Recommended Skills Engineering Apply to this job.
