The Portfolio Strategy and Integration Senior Leader is accountable for portfolio strategy support and integrated service delivery of portfolio planning through implementation.
The leader will work with and support the activities of the client's Portfolio Management and Workplace Strategy teams and oversee Strategic Occupancy Planning, Space Data Management, Design Standards Management, Lease Administration, and Transaction Management.
The position will report directly to the Account Director.
Overall
Responsibilities:
Work with and support the activities of the client's Portfolio Management and Workplace Strategy teams and actively participate in strategic plan formation and implementation throughout the portfolio.
Integrate service delivery platform and bring best practices and analytics to improve the performance of the JLL services under this senior leader's responsibility:
Strategic Occupancy Planning Space Data Management Design Standards Management Lease Administration Transaction Management Integrate resources throughout the firm to ensure accurate and robust analysis of real estate performance and opportunities.
Hire, attract and retain a team of top talented employees; improve team performance through regular coaching and feedback; provide recognition.
Maintain an active awareness and understanding of global workplace trends, innovations, and opportunities.
Identify needs for strategic and innovative initiatives.
Develop and articulate strategic initiatives with senior management and the client.
Provide our client with value added information to promote improved value-driven decision making.
Understand the client's key business drivers; focus the team to ensure those priorities are aligned with our deliverables.
Portfolio Strategy Delivery Deliver a consistent and holistic portfolio strategy program which provides clear governance and policy, process and methodology, design standards and guidelines, and employee and client experience.
Awareness of linkage between design, real estate planning & financial results, and with ability to tailor strategic direction to address financial challenges.
Develop & execute a strategic service approach that informs and supports the development and execution of client's Capital Plan.
Assist client in ensuring processes are developed and executed that assist with project development, funding approval, and rate case documentation.
Drives innovation and strategies that can assist the client with Portfolio Management Oversee Strategic Occupancy Planning and Space Data Management Team who:
Assures delivery of JLL best practices via Occupancy Planning & Management products, solutions, and tools to our client.
Plans and manages portfolios to optimize space while assisting clients in their scenario, block/stack, space/test fit and migration planning, in addition to individual moves.

Provides critical review and input into occupancy status reports on actual versus projected seat demand, reporting on the current supply and capacity, and forecasting inventory changes.
Oversees occupancy planning reports to ensure they are credible and support Corporate Real Estate decision making including space, demand and utilization tracking.
Ensures space data is complete and accurate.
Presents creative solutions that assist client with occupancy strategies and challenges Oversee Design Standards Management who:
Supports regional portfolio strategy scenario planning, and project team in implementing planning concepts, workplace design standards and workplace policies.
Supports the JLL project management team throughout the project delivery process from workplace design aspects, to completion, ensuring all new-built or renovation works follow the firm's approved design standards.
Supports the JLL procurement process to identify framework agreements and performance reviews for contracted consulting teams and vendors.
Assist in monitoring performance to ensure quality delivery through regular review process.
Supports client's workplace strategy team on all workplace and design issues.
Provide regular on-going design related deliverables and support change management activities.
Has understanding of current workplace planning theories.
Advanced knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, materials application and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
Is passionate about presenting opportunities to continually improve and enhance the client's ongoing Workplace Strategy program.
Oversee Lease Administration Team who:
Manages lease abstractions and critical dates, to full financial management of landlord invoices and reconciliation audits.
Brings best practices and analytics to support portfolio strategy delivery and transactions.
Oversee Transactions who:
Improves client transaction management processes by handling a high volume of transactions, reporting updates to clients.
Selects and manages co-brokers for lease transactions while managing analyst responsibilities throughout the deal process.
Gathers and evaluates real estate market & property data by researching market, companies, landlords, and potential subtenants.
Brings best practices and analytics to support portfolio strategy delivery.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum of 10-year experience working in Commercial Real Estate, with specific understand of the work structure and inter-relationships of Portfolio Strategy Management, Strategic Occupancy Planning and Workplace Strategy.

Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills with ability to manage managers/leaders and developing great new managers.

Strong analytical skills including root cause analysis and solution development.
