What you will do:
Learn various roles in the production area, including fabric cutting, metal taping, assembly, and rolling fabric.
Operate machines such as scissor lifts and high-speed cutting saws.
Sort, label, and store materials.
Verify work orders.
Count and pack a specified number of shades per hour.
Adhere to safety protocols and production standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to follow instructions with attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude with a strong dedication to providing quality work.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
Experience with cutting tables, metal, and textiles is preferred.
Must be comfortable with operating a saw.
Physical Demands and Environment:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Exposure to moderate noise levels from production machinery.
Occasional computer work.
Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
Hours:
Monday - Friday; 7 am-3:
30 pm with a 30-minute lunch period.
