JLL is currently seeking a Compliance Director to join our team supporting a premier financial services client.
POSITION PURPOSEResponsible for the process of identifying, measuring and managing risks, developing reports and dashboards, and analyzing risk/insurance/issue problems and defining and overseeing the implementation of risk solutions to help optimize operations.
Assesses and communicates information regarding business risks with functions across the organization.
Promote, maintain, and advance the firm's/account's compliance regime.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Central point of contact for risk and issue escalation and developing issues report and dashboard for leadership groups and client presentations; review for accuracy and completeness; ensure compliance with closed-loop issue management process Central point of contact for collecting documentation in support of answering insurance and legal claim requests Central point of contact for legal and risk management teams to collect documentation in support of legal and insurance claim requests, including local site contacts, work orders, inspection data and vendor contracts, reviewing all subpoenas and deposition requests; track all legal and insurance requests for trend identification As directed by Risk and Compliance Director, update the Risk and Compliance Playbook Assist Risk and Compliance Director in developing and maintaining Risk & Compliance team tools, reports and account-wide and targeted trainings Central point of contact for routine client compliance requests; manage the compliance calendar and reminders; upload responses on SharePoint site for client access Responsible for monthly suspicious activity reporting, as required by AML regulations Gather and report monthly evidence for key performance indicators and key risk indicators for global laws and regulations and privacy events Assist in conducting account audits and tracking corrective action remediation Assist in developing account risk communications and case studies/lessons learned Manage organization and content on Risk and Compliance shared drive and SharePoint site CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS Associates degree or equivalent work experience in business administration, risk management, compliance, facilities management, legal, insurance or related field Advanced Excel skills (i.
e.
, pivot tables and v-lookups), including creating of reports generated from Excel data and development of dashboards from Excel data Years of commercial real estate experience preferred, either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant Strong written and oral communications skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
