A large publicly-traded company in Charlotte is looking to add an SEC Senior Analyst to their Corporate Accounting Department; This role is very high profile as you will work with individuals throughout the company as well as senior leaders. You will work with individuals in areas such as investor relations, legal, financial planning and accounting. This is a team environment where everyone works together. The position is bonus eligible and the company has outstanding benefits.

Must have at least 1 year experience in public accounting, private industry or a combination of both.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare consolidated financial statements including the 10K , 10Q's and earnings releases
Contribute to and create for disclosures to be included in external financial statements
Occasionaly perform accounting research and work with the accounting policy department related to new accounting pronouncements
Assist with process improvement projects
Analyze information provided by business unit partners and identify any potential issues
Interact with business unit leaders throughout the company to gather data to be included in financial disclosures and communicate any issues to leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
1+ years in a large corporate or Public Accounting environment required
Must have SEC reporting experience either within public accounting or a large public company
Excellent Communication Skills - both written and verbal
Ability to Work in a Team-Oriented Environment
Advanced analytical and Excel skills
Experience preparing and analyzing financial statementsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
