The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating prevention programming. The Specialist will provide services in school- and community-based settings for diverse populations addressing multiple substance abuse-related issues and community needs. Candidate should be capable of serving Latinos with linguistic and cultural competence.
The successful candidates should have experience with substance abuse prevention and possess at least a bachelors degree in public health, health education, or related field. Also required are strong interpersonal, oral communication, and written skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office.
