Responsible for design, development and implementation of complex software applications as well as writing programs that maintain and control computer systems software for operating systems, networks systems, and database systems. Responsible for review and approval of development systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models. Must be able to work with minimal or no supervision on multiple concurrent projects and coordinate work of others in this environment. Participate in design and development of new software applications components. Provide troubleshooting and diagnosis. Develop and maintain components, standards and guidelines. Act as mentor to team members in carrying out application development stages. Provide assistance to team members in carrying out application development stages. Conduct appropriate test reviews and present to review board as necessary. Define, plan and implement solution on assigned complex projects. Design and develop software modifications. Perform live system tests. Maintain expert knowledge in areas of expertise. Needs to be proficient and have in depth knowledge of computer applications with the ability to take business requirements and develop technical designs for application development. Requires ability to advise engineering staff on hardware and software specifications and performance requirements. Must have thorough understanding of life cycle development through implementation and post implementation. Requires skills in web or object oriented development, specifically C#, Transact SQL and SSIS ETL.
(1) Master's degree
1 yr experience.
OR
(2) Bachelor's degree
5 years experience.
